The new Oats Northwest Regional Office in St. Joseph is open.
A ribbon cutting was recently held for the facility, which now features larger training rooms, and incorporates a covered parking lot, garage, and a wash station for Oats busses that operate in northwest Missouri. The executive director says it moves operations out of the basement of a building that wasn't designed for housing Oats and the customized facility helps ensure stability for the program. In northwest Missouri Oats provided more than 246,000 one-way trips last year alone and served 5,000 regional residents with transportation.
