33 north Missouri residents are graduating tomorrow night, doing their part to relieve concerns of a nursing shortage in our region.
The graduates are from North Central Missouri College's licensed practical nursing program based in Maryville. The Trenton college has agreements with the Northwest technical Center through the Maryville Public School District as well as an agreement with Northwest Missouri State to reciprocate classes for an advanced nursing degree. The 3 schools have joined forces to address the need for nurses in hospitals, nursing homes, and other agencies throughout north Missouri. The 33 graduating tomorrow night will be receiving their LPN degrees at the Charles Johnson Theatre on the Northwest campus in Maryville. It stars at 7.
