Heat Continues

The National Weather Service classifies the actual air temperature expected for today as "Dangerous Heat".

In fact all of our Kansas counties and most of our Missouri listening area is under an excessive heat warning through tomorrow. Evan Bookbinder with the weather service near Kansas City says temperatures will flirt with one hundred with the heat index well exceeding that.

The Weather Service reminds us this is another day to drink plenty of water and to Re-schedule strenuous outdoor activities to later tonight when the heat index will still remain in the mid 80's.
