News Brief

Food Collection Starts

Starting today and running most of August, the Rolling Hills Library is collecting food and money for residents of southwest Buchanan county displaced by the flood waters.

Many have been living in campers and tents, but food supplies are starting to run low. The libraries in both Savannah and in St. Joseph will take monetary donations, as well as food like gelatin cups, peanut butter, crackers, non-perishable meats and other food. Donations will then be sent to the Rushville Christian Church for distribution. Again, those donations are being accepted at both branches of the Rolling Hills Library today through August 20th.
