Excessive Heat

Forecasters from 2 agencies are warning consistent heat this week could get deadly.

Meteorologists with accuweather predict conditions would get lethal in the plains states, adding it's the heat and humidity combination which could raise serious health concerns for at-risk residents. And Derek Deroche with the National Weather Service office near Kansas City says this week's heat here could make headlines all the way to the east coast.
