2 more counties in our region have been added to the list for government funds because of the Missouri River Flooding.

This time they are in Nebraska, farm loans are available for producers experiencing losses in Richardson and Nemaha counties. Because they are also contiguous with these two, landowners in several other counties are also eligible including Fremont and Mills county in Iowa, Brown and Doniphan in Kansas, and Atchison and Holt counties in Missouri. The loans are administered through the USDA and the local service centers have more information on requirements.
