Congressman Invaded

South east Iowa congressman Leonard Boswell is unhurt after an armed man invades the family's farm home near Lamoni late Saturday night.

The US Representative was at home with his wife, daughter, and grandson when the man barged through the front door and demanded money. The Decatur County Sheriff's Office says the congressman and Boswell's grandson Mitchell Brown both rushed to the entry upon hearing the man assault Boswell's daughter. Brown wrestled the gun from the intruder and aimed it at him before he fled outside. No arrests yet but the sheriff's office is also working with the FBI on the investigation. Authorities aren't saying if the gun was loaded. Boswell is 77 years old and serving his 8th term in Congress.
