Clarinda City Council

The Clarinda City Council unanimously approves pay raises for city employees.

Workers will see a 3% increase starting today. Members also approved a new policy where employees will have to contribute 2% toward the monthly health premium costs. The city is also buying a new bucket truck for nearly $88,000 form truck equipment, incorporated. Council also re-appointed Jeremy Petersen and Phil Tornholm to the library board and Ken Card and Lon Lefeber to the planning and zoning board.
