The Carrollton R-7 School Board met earlier this week.

Some of the items which were discussed were this years summer school program which enrolled 300 students, down from years past. Also mentioned was a report giving on a Washington D.C. trip which was a yearly trip in the 70's and 80's for students. However not until this past school year had Carrollton students been able to enjoy the trip, now the district plans on going again this coming school year. Carrollton School District's superintendent Dr. Judith Delaney says the board also considered the approval of a 2010 and 11 budget revision.
