Flood water is not just ravaging farm ground and threatening homes it is also affecting peoples jobs.

More and more displaced workers are contacting Missouri Career Center in Maryville to file for unemployment and for help with finding other jobs. Executive director of the Northwest Regional Council of Governments Tye Parsons says it's important, those affected by the flood in Atchison and Holt counties to contact the career center.
