Northwest Missouri State University will soon give students a new textbook rental program.

The new multi channel program was created to help students rent supplemental textbooks with convenience and at affordable prices. Primary textbooks continue to be included in Northwest's tuition, saving students an average of $900 per year. With the new rental process students will be able rent required supplemental textbooks for 50% less than the cost of a new textbook. Another accommodation students can take advantage of is the online renting process. Bearcats can get their books by visiting the bookstore's website. The decision was made by Northwest and Barnes and Noble college booksellers to offer the textbook program. Some of the other features include easy payment options, and the ability to highlight or mark in rented books just as if they were purchased.
