Writing For Joplin

Local writers have the chance to turn their works into help for Joplin disaster victims.

The Joplin writers' guild is asking for both fiction and non-fiction works as well as poetry for a new anthology to be published in late summer. Proceeds from the work will go to purchase books for school libraries hit by the Joplin Tornado May 22nd. The original works are being accepted for review now through July 15th. There is a 1,500 word limit and a maximum of three works per author will be accepted. More information on where to submit is at the website MissouriWritersGuild.org
