St. Joseph Levee

St. Joseph officials are also very concerned about the coming flooding on the Missouri River.

Donna Miller is the secretary of the levee board overseeing "L 455" That's the name of the levee holding back the Missouri from flooding the stockyard area of St. Joseph. She paints a nightmare scenario for St. Joseph residents and the services they will lose if the levee is breached in the next few weeks.

St. Joseph officials are working with Corps of Engineers to use automated sandbagging machines to protect against a breech or overflow of the levees protecting the city.
