Many Iowa roads are now closed due to the rising Missouri River.
Interstate-29 is now closed in both directions, between exit 55 near Carter Lake, and exit 75 near Missouri Valley on US 30. State Highway 333 is closed at county road J-64 and US 274 near Hamburg. Both lanes are closed in two areas along Interstate 680. The first between the start of I-680 and approximately 3 miles west of the crescent area, and exit 62 by the Mormon Bridge Road. I-680 is also closed between Exit 71 and Exit 21 which is the County Road L34 east of the Crescent Exit. finally Iowa 92 is closed in both directions between county road T-25 and Iowa 163 near Beacon. All of these roads have been closed due to flooding, drivers are urged to follow detour signs or chose alternate routes.
