Flood Traffic Impact

The closure of Interstate 29 is expected to impact Maryville in a big way, both good and bad.

Officials say traffic will increase dramatically as cars, trucks, and semis detour onto Highways 136 at Rockport and Travel Highway 71 through Maryville. Maryville Public Safety director Keith Wood says both police and merchants should be prepared.
