Farmers in both our Iowa and Missouri listening area experiencing losses from the flooding can get answers at a series of meetings tomorrow and Thursday.
The USDA's farm and foreign service acting deputy under secretary is meeting with local producers to discuss USDA programs and resources available because of the floods. The first meeting is on the Iowa side tomorrow morning at the Hamburg Iowa Junior-Senior High School on "E" Street in Hamburg. It starts at 10 in the morning. Then on Thursday in Missouri producers can meet at the Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge on Highway 159 in Mound City. That meeting starts at 10:30.
