Federal Flood Funding

Somewhere between a dozen to 40 levees on the Missouri River could fail in the next three months.

That's the assessment from federal authorities and the reason Missouri senator Blunt is ready to ask for more money. Blunt was fighting earlier for federal reimbursements for Joplin and says any food clean-up costs in northwest MIssouri should be considered too, adding some devastation is too costly for local government to handle.
