Cycling For Change

Cycling For Change Organization will be pedaling through our listening area tomorrow.

The program is a 500 mile, 7 day bike ride to bring attention to poverty stricken families, and the poverty reduction programs of Catholic Charities of Kansas City and St. Joseph. Program manager for Cycling For Change, Suzanne Cronkhite says the cyclists will roll through St. Joseph, Maryville, Lake Viking, Richmond, Warrensburg, Clinton, and Harrisonville. During this 2nd year of Cycling for Change.

Cronkhite adds there will be a food drive set up at the Maryville Wal-Mart as well as the Northwest Student Pavilion on campus where the cyclists will stop on their tour.
