Cameron City Manager

The city manager in Cameron has been let go by the city council.

David Watson had been with the city for the past 3 years. In a meeting Monday morning, city council members went into closed session, then emerged saying Watson's contract had been terminated. No reason has been given publicly, as under state law such action can fall under closed-meeting "Personnel" decisions. Cameron's utilities director Mark Gaugh is now interim city manager.
