CIE on the Road

Maryville's business incubator is getting more attention this week.

The Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship or CIE is located on the university campus and helps start-up businesses develop in their early years. The complex also houses Northwest's nanoscience program and allows students to work with high-tech professional all under one roof. Dr. Frank Veeman is helping coordinate the outreach. He says the university and Nodaway County Economic Development will be in St. Louis tomorrow night spreading the message with a Northwest Alumni Group.

Alumni meetings on the CIE are also scheduled for Des Moines, Omaha, and Columbia Missouri in the coming months.
