June 24, 2011BURLINGTON JUNCTION, MO | By: Wayman
A lot will depend on the weather, but today marks the start of a long-term highway resurfacing project around Burlington Junction Missouri in Nodaway county.
The 3.2 million dollar resurfacing is for Highway 136 starting north of Wilcox, going through Burlington Junction, then west to Route M which is east of Tarkio. The plans call for the road to be widened to 12 feet lanes and 4 feet shoulders. It's scheduled to take the next 6 weeks to complete, and during that time, a pilot car will be escorting drivers through the work zone.
