Much of our region this afternoon got a taste of the weather to come later tonight.

Storm predictors say the tornadic super cells that have been developing in Oklahoma and Kansas all afternoon are expected in our listening area starting around midnight. Pleasant Hill National Weather Service chief meteorologist Andy Bailey says the threat of tornados goes down once those cells reach us but straight line winds could be a problem.
