Sobriety Checkpoint

Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop H recently completed at sobriety checkpoint in Nodaway county.

9 troopers were assigned to the four hour operation and 167 vehicles went through the checkpoint. 38 Warnings were issued for minor traffic violations but no alcohol related arrests were made. Captain Duane Robison said, "we were encouraged by the absence of impaired drivers and the fact that no summonses were issued." Captain Robison also urges you to call the patrol if you see any vehicles driven in an erratic manner.
