May 17, 2011ANDREW COUNTY, MO | By: Wayman
The Andrew County museum has been chosen as one of only 6 institutions to host the Smithsonian Institution's traveling exhibit called "The Way We Worked".
Showing how work became a central part of American culture, the exhibit will feature workplace technology, uniforms, places of work, and other aspects. Andrew County Museum director Glenn Uminosicz says it's a natural tie-in with the museum, and they are also planning on partnering with local businesses for the exhibition. The Smithsonian's "The Way We Worked" exhibit will be at the Andrew County Museum May of next year, with local preparations starting now.
