May 10, 2011ATCHISON COUNTY, MO | By: Wayman
Better weather means more road construction for our region.
MoDOT says crews will be on Highway 136 today in Atchison county. They are working on the shoulders between Route YY and Route M. That's a stretch on 136 starting about 4 miles east of Tarkio. That work will narrow the highway to one lane through Thursday afternoon. Then in Gentry county crews will start tomorrow replacing a culvert on Highway C near Albany. Starting at 8 O'clock that work will close down C3 and a half miles north of Highway 136 between the Route C spur and 570th Street. Crews hope to have that stretch re-opened by 1 tomorrow afternoon.
