Library Grant

The books in the Daviess County Library are safer thanks to a major grant.

The library was awarded nearly $16,000 from a USDA Rural Development grant to help fix the roof after it was damaged from storms in 2009. Library director Jan Johnson says the insurance money fell a little short, so the grant was a major help to help with the ongoing problem.
