Homer Croy Comes Home

The work of a famous northwest Missouri man comes to Maryville Saturday afternoon.

Homer Croy, a famous nonfiction writer and Pulitzer prize winner, loved farm memoirist and funnyman lived his childhood days in Maryville Missouri. Now his work is being shared at the Maryville Public Library Saturday May 7th at 2 O'clock. Director of the Maryville Public Library Stephanie Patterson says Maryville was the topic of many of Croy's works and a huge part of his life. Patterson adds it will be a great opportunity for the community to learn more about Homer Croy. The readings begin Saturday May 7th at 2 O'clock.
