Another weekend approaches, and industry watchers are predicting more gas price increases in the next few weeks.
The St. Louis Federal Reserve warned this week if gas prices continue to rise, it could stall job creation and the economy. Missouri senator Claire McCaskill says the Obama Administration's lifting of its ban on domestic oil drilling along the southern coast should help the long-term prospects. McCaskill adds short of government price controls, not a lot can be done for high gas prices in the short term.
