The university in Maryville is announcing its free summer movie series.
Movies will be on Tuesday nights with the first showing at 7 and the second at 9. The 7 O'clock shows will be in the air-conditioned comfort of the Ron Houston Center for the Performing Arts on campus. The 9 O'clock showings will be outside at the Ray Courter College Park Pavilion across from the Center for the Performing Arts and moviegoers are encouraged to bring their own blankets or lawn chairs. The series starts this upcoming week, but because of a scheduling conflict, the series kicks off on Wednesday night with "The King's Speech". The series includes title like "Inception", "The Social Network", "No Strings Attached", and "Nanny McPhee Returns". In all a dozen movies make up this summer's movie series.
