The Red Cross says blood supplies are stable for right now.

The Community Blood Center in St. Joseph has already sent 15 units of blood to aid the victims of the Joplin storms. Mobile manager for the Blood Center in St. Joseph Shelly Muckerheide says centers in the Osarks, Springfield, and in St. Joseph have responded so well that their inventories are at adequate levels. She goes on to say actually what would help the center is for people wanting to donate to wait.
