Armory Security

Armories in Maryville, Chillicothe, St. Joseph, and other communities through Missouri are now on alert following Bin Laden's assassination.

Missouri National Guard spokesman captain Alan Brown confirms what he calls "A Heightened Security Alert" not based on any credible threats but just in reaction to the death of the Al Qaeda leader. Brown says visitors to the armories will notice changes. There's no word on how long the extra procedures will be in place.
