May 31, 2011ANDREW COUNTY, MO | By: Harris
The Andrew County Museum will become a Blue Star museum today.
The Blue Star program offers free admission to families that have a parent or spouse serving in Afghanistan or Iraq. Blue Star programs focus on about 1 million children who are affected by having a parent serving over seas. This allows the families to visit these cultural attractions this summer when resources and time are limited with those family members. The program runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day and is available to all active military personnel. The Andrew County Museum is located at 202 East Duncan Drive in Savannah. Museum hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 in the morning to 4.
