Wanted Shooter

Law enforcement throughout northwest Missouri are on the lookout for a suspect who they say shot at a highway patrolman early this morning.

The patrol says the Cameron Police started a pursuit about 4 this morning of a stolen vehicle. A trooper who lived nearby got in his patrol vehicle and joined the chase which ended when the suspect crashed near Holt Missouri at I-35 and Route PP. The trooper attempted to arrest the suspect but a fight started, and the suspect allegedly grabbed the trooper's gun and fired once, missing the patrolman. The suspect then fled. Law enforcers are now looking for 31 year old Justin Heller of Kingsville. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall, bald, and last seen wearing a dirty white T-shirt and dark colored pants. Officials say he is considered armed and dangerous and if anyone sees him, NOT to confront him but contact the nearest law enforcement agency.
