Soldiers Return

The future of America's fighting force is in Maryville today.

It's a group of officers from the army's command and general staff college based at Fort Leavenworth. They will be on the university campus today getting interviewed by journalism students at Northwest Missouri State University required training as the future military commanders train in media relations. Chair of the Mass Communication Department Dr. Doug Sudhoff says the relationship between Northwest and the military's command college has been strong for nearly a decade. The soldiers in turn are briefing the students in sessions this after on how the military uses virtual environments for training, telepresence, and other technological topics.
