Nodaway county residents will have a chance to save big on household appliances.
Starting tomorrow through next Monday the Missouri sales tax will not apply to household appliances that qualify as "Energy Star" efficient. The state isn't the only one having a sales tax holiday; Nodaway county will also waive its sales tax on qualified appliances. Executive director of the greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce, Luke Reven says residents can save big during the sales tax holiday.
