Northwest Missouri Shooting

One man is in jail and an acquaintance recovering after a shooting about 5 O'clock last night in Burlington Junction.

The Nodaway County Sheriff says the suspect is 58 year old Bill Grace, who investigators allege fired a shotgun on a long-time acquaintance, 40 year old Brian Keever of Skidmore. By the time deputies arrived at the Burlington Junction house everyone had fled the scene. Grace was discovered shortly afterwards in Rulo Nebraska and is currently being held in the Richardson county jail there. Investigators say Keever was shot in the hand with the 12-guage shot but declined any medical attention.
