The city of Maryville has received funds for "Downtown Revitalization and Economic Assistance to Missourians" or "DREAM", for the 3rd consecutive year.
But this year, Maryville will be able to put that money to use anywhere within the city limits. Owners who occupy their own home in Maryville an meet income requirements are eligible to apply for up to $20,000 in funds that can be used to repair or improve their home. The city has scheduled a meeting for 5:30 Wednesday evening at City Hall to discuss the specifics of the opportunity. THe early bird will get the worm with this program. Stacey Wood with the Maryville Public Works Department explains how the funds will be granted.
