A special award-winning prison drama is being performed tonight in Maryville.

Called "Killadelphia" it incorporates hip hop and documentary theater techniques and is based on playwright and actor Sean Christopher Lewis' time working with inmates at Graterford Prison. In fact Lewis has been on the Northwest campus as a guest artist in residence. Department chair of communication, theatre and languages at Northwest Dr. David Oehler says it tells the story of the inmate's project of painting about 2,000 murals. "Killadelphia" is being performed tonight at 7:30 in the Charles Johnson Theater in Maryville and includes a post-show discussion with the playwright.
