The Missouri Department of Conservation is asking hunters for their input on the timing and locations of waterfowl hunting for the next 5 years.
Every 5 years the MDC can adjust existing duck zones and seasons. This year the Department of Conservation is asking hunters who attend their workshops to share their experiences over previous years and address their preferences for the next 5 waterfowl seasons. Workshops for northwest Missouri will take place on April 4th at the Squaw Creek Wildlife Refuge 5 miles south of Mound City, and in Chillicothe on April 5th at the Comfort Inn. Both workshops run from 7 to 9 p.m. For more information contact the Missouri Department of Conservation.
