Administrator Leaves

Chillicothe's mayor Pro Tem says it was a mandate by the citizens that led to city administrator dean Brookshire's resignation.

Mayor Pro Tem and councilman at large David Moore says Brookshire resigned in a closed meeting on Monday night after the council asked him to Moore explains with 4 out of the 5 council people newly elected, they took that as a mandate for change. A closed meeting of the city council is set for tonight to discuss personnel. Moore says a search for a new administrator will take time, but will start very quickly.
