March 21, 2011MARYVILLE, MO | By: Demarea
Fair March weather is allowing crews to make progress on Maryville's second water tower project.
The structure is being built on land owned by the university on the city's west side. It matches a similar water tower recently completed on Maryville's east side. Construction supervisor Ryan Lindberg says the new tower will hold 750,000 gallons of water. The two water towers are supposed to ensure pressure and water service for residents and are expected to cost about 2.6 million dollars total. Construction on the second tower is set to be finished next month.
