April is National Volunteer Month, and Crowder State park near Trenton is Offering the Chance to learn about volunteering opportunities.

Volunteer work day and orientation will begin at 9 on Saturday morning in the recreation hall at Camp Grand River within the park and is open to the public. Staff will discuss special events that will be held at Crowder State Park that volunteers are invited to assist with throughout the year. After the orientation, participants will break into small groups to work on various projects throughout the park.
