Small Town Population

We told you yesterday of the new census figures out for some of our larger listening area cities.

Today, some of the smaller ones and their population change over the past 10 years. The government says Albany lost 207 residents in the last decade. It's population is now 1,730. Country Club Village near St. Joseph saw 603 new residents for an official population of 2,449. Gallatin lost 3 residents in 10 years for a new population total of 1,786. Hamilton lost 4, its population now stands at 1,809. Hopkins population dropped 47 people, there are now 532 living there. Jamesport saw an increase of 19 people for a population of 542. Milan gained 2 new residents in 10 years for a population of 1,960. Weston gained 10, it now stands at 1,641 residents. And 87 new people moved into Pattonsburg in the last decade. It's population is at 348.
