Save Green

The New Nodaway Humane Society will celebrate St. Patrick's day in a unique way.

This month the humane society will be offering their "Wear Green, Save Green" event, where they will offer a reduced adoption fee for cats and dogs to anyone wearing the color green. Megan Tilk, board member of the humane society, says the society tries to have a promotion or event every month. The price of adoption includes the cost of spaying or neutering, worming, rabies vaccination, a microchip implant in case your dog or cat is lost, and training information; But are only available to those wearing green. Tilk adds the humane society has around 50 dogs and 80 cats available for adoption.
