Natural gas provider Missouri Gas Energy has filed with the Missouri Public Service Commission to adjust a surcharge it's customers pay.
MGE is asking the adjustment reflect infrastructure replacement investments made between June of 2010 and this January. The costs for natural gas pipeline replacements and relocations are not currently included in the rates. The current surcharge for customers is $0.21 per month. MGE proposes raising that rate to $0.50 per month. Applications to intervene or participate in this case must be received by the Missouri Public Service Commission no later than March 15.
