Japanese in Maryville

Japanese students living in Maryville are getting assistance from the university in dealing with the crisis in Japan.

Director of International Affairs Dr. Jeffery Foot says students are trying to get in touch with family members using Skype and e-mail. Foot says the visiting students will require support long after the news coverage has moved on to other issues. Northwest Missouri State is also making counseling available to students who request it.
