Goppert Gift

Northwest Missouri State University has received a $100,000 gift from the Goppert Foundation to help fund the school's American Dream Grant program.

The American Dream Grant helps low-income students from the region attend Northwest. The gift was presented to the university Tuesday morning during a special ceremony held on the Northwest campus. Executive Vice President of Goppert Financial Bank in Lathrop and Kansas City, Cory Strider, a 1996 graduate of Northwest says after reviewing the school's American Dream Grant Program. Goppert officials feel the program supports the mission of the Goppert Foundation. Goppert Financial Bank executive vice president, Corey Strider. Northwest's American Dream Grant program began in 2004.
