Enforcement Efforts

The numbers are out on the recent driving while intoxicated effort by the Chillicothe Police.

It happened the day after St. Patrick's Day, when officers made 40 traffic stops. Of those they arrested just one person for DWI but issued 23 tickets for moving violations, 10 equipment violations, and 2 drug discoveries one felony and one misdemeanor. 4 drivers were cited for insurance violations. Also on the 18th the Missouri Highway Patrol held its own DWI saturation in Livingston county. They arrested 2 people for driving while intoxicated and made 5 arrests for misdemeanor offenses. Troopers issued 71 warnings for minor violations.
