Nodaway county business owners are being encouraged to ban together.

Talks are underway and will continue this evening as plans for developing Nodaway county into a enhanced enterprise zone or EEZ. An EEZ is a new tax incentive given by the state that allows local business owners, government officials, and even school boards decide which industries will receive a tax break. Lee Langerock is the economic developer for Nodaway county and says its exciting that our communities are considering the EEZ. Tonight's meeting takes places at 5:30 at the community building at Burlington Junction.
