Debbie Carman

This is the first full week for Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce's new president, long time Trenton resident, Debbie Clark.

Numerous applications were received and interviews conducted to fill the position after past president Jordan Ferguson announced his resignation. Dr. Crystal Whitaker, chairman of the board of directors says they are thrilled to have Carman step into the president position for the chamber, and with her experience serving as the Trenton downtown director and as a chamber ambassador, they anticipate a very smooth transition for the chamber. Carman says she really enjoys working alongside citizens and business owners to be a part of Trenton's growth, to expand on what is established, and help create a new vision. Since Debbie has been employed as the Trenton downtown director for the last 13 months, new businesses have moved into the area, downtown buildings have seen improvements, and many downtown events were created.
